Florence L. Rivard (nee Hallam), born April 15, 1944, in Covington, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on July 16, 2025, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who cherished her family above all else.

Florence is remembered fondly by her daughters: Cynthia Wossum, Connie (David) Walter, Sharon Rivard, and Jeannette Rivard. She also leaves behind her cherished niece, Phyllis (Joe) Bechtold, along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. The warmth of her spirit will be deeply missed by a host of other family members and friends who were fortunate to know her.

Throughout her life, Florence took great joy in playing BINGO and cards, finding excitement in her visits to the casino, particularly during her trip to Las Vegas. She also relished moments in the sun on Florida beaches. Florence had a particular fondness for the classic television series "Little House on the Prairie" and enjoyed watching "Gone with the Wind." One of her favorite songs, "Sweet Dreams", beautifully captures the tender and loving nature that defined her.

Florence was preceded in death by her father, John Edward Hallam; her mother, Carrie Elizabeth Gillespie; and her husband, David Herman Rivard. Their memories will forever linger in the hearts of those she loved.

At Florence's request, no services will be held.

In her life, Florence's proudest accomplishment remained her family, nurturing and supporting them through life's many challenges. Her legacy lives on in the laughter and love she shared, reminding all of us of the enduring bonds that tie us together. Florence L. Rivard will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones.
