Evelyn "Evie" Sexton, age 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on February 6, 2026. Born on February 7, 1948, in Oneida, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Shird S. and Laura Wiggins (nee Gibson).

Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother, Laura; her dad, Edwin Wiggins, her husband, Charles "Chalk" Sexton; her brother, Paul Moore; her sister, Alice Danzl; and her biological father, Shird S. Moore. Despite these losses, Evelyn's spirit and love endure through her survivors. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Brandon (Courtney) Ruth; her daughter, Kimberly Clark; and her cherished grandchildren, Lauren Ruth and Abigail Ruth. She is also survived by her sister, Connie Bailey; her brother, Edwin Bruce (Linda) Wiggins; her sister, Karla (Kermit) Kinne; and many other family members and friends who will hold her memory dear.

A Celebration of Evelyn's Life will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Lake Nina Restaurant from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM located at 7200 Pippin Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45239, allowing those who knew and loved her to come together in remembrance. Please come with a story to tell!

Remembrances may be made in Evelyn's name to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Cincinnati.
