Ella Stanton, age 69, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 18, 1950 to Harvey and Verna Ducker (nee Messinger).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Stanton; sons, Charles "Lee" Hamilton and Buford "Sam" Hamilton; parents, and a brother, Jimmy (Connie) Ducker.
Ella is survived by her four beloved children, Virginia "Susie" (Gary Neal) Abney, Ashley "Ash" Miller, John "Dune" Hamilton, and James (Priscilla) Hamilton; was lovingly known as the "mean old granny" to her six grandchildren, Kerina Riley, Tileena Hamilton, Jami Abney, Mikey Abney, James Hamilton and Sarah Woods; one great-granddaughter, Denali Riley; three sisters, Donna (Clifford) Crouch, Wanda Starrett and Jeanette (Lou) Wesley; several nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Michael Abney; and a host of other family members and friends.
Family and friends may gather on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45231. A graveside service will follow at 11:30AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens on Compton Road.
