Eileen Gruber

Eileen Walters Gruber, age 93, of Western Hills, died August 12, 2025. Eileen is the beloved wife of the late Thomas Gruber. She was born September 30, 1931, the daughter of John and Josephine Walters (nee Grause).

Eileen is the mother of Tom (Nancy) Gruber, Mary Jo (Mike) Haverkamp Sr, Gary (Dina) Gruber, Mark (Teri) Gruber Sr, John (Kim) Gruber and Betsy (Dan) Graziano.

She is the grandmother of Cara (Matt) Pickett, Zac, Hannah, Marta (Nick Dwenger), Amaryl and Damian Gruber, Mike (Laura) Haverkamp Jr, Betsy (Matt) Wallbrown, Joe (Kelly), Rob (Samantha) and Dan (Kate) Haverkamp, Maria, John (Crissy) and Dave (Jessica) Gruber, Mark (Katie), Emily, Tom and Tim Gruber, Jack (Sarah), Max (Emily) Peter, Mary and Heidi Gruber, Dan Graziano, Maria (Andrew) Murphy and Ben Graziano.

Eileen is the great grandmother of Nola, Thea, Teddy, Louis, Miles, Josie, Kate, Drew, Andrew, Abigail, Henry, Juliette, Alexis, Betsy, Lucas, Hailey, Jacob, Addyson, Braxtin, Rosemary, Thomas and Gabriel.

She is also survived by her cousins, Bev Kirby and Carole Rinear and her numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many other friends and acquaintances.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2025, in the Greeting Room of St Antoninus Church, 1500 Linneman Road, Cincinnati (45238) from 8:30 AM until 9:45 AM. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
