Doris Spence

Doris Claudette Spence, aged 77, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on December 29, 1947, she was the daughter of James and Doris Wray (nee Brinson).

Doris dedicated her life to her family, finding joy in caring for and teaching children. She also had a passion for baking, which brought happiness to those around her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Judy Bryant and Barb Cook. Doris is survived by her beloved husband, Carl Michael Spence; her sons, David (Mary Jones) Davis and Michael Spence; her grandchildren, Zachary, Cody, and Hunter Davis; her great-grandchildren, Addi and Jefferson; as well as her sister, Carolyn Taylor, and brothers, James Wray and David Wray. Doris leaves behind a host of other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
