Derrell Ray Lowe Sr.

Derrell Ray Lowe Sr. age 78, of Latonia, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20,2026. 

He was born in Alabama.Derrell was a loving and amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He held many titles over his life. Owning his own fencing company to owning taxi cabs. After retirement he loved to buy and sell stuff, he called it "going to the boat money", he loved the casinos. He also enjoyed "tinkering" in his garage. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Sadie Inez Murphy Grubbs and Father, Basil Ray Lowe. 

Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Beverly Kay Lowe. Sister Candy Smith, sons, Kenny Ray (Karen) Lowe, Derrell Ray Lowe, Jr., Kevin Ray Lowe, and daughter, Kristin Rae (Shane) Moore. 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family is holding a private ceremony. 

Derrell will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew him.
