Dennis D. Piening

Dennis Piening, age 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026. Born on May 15, 1946, in Cincinnati to Albert and Evelyn Piening (nee Huber), Dennis lived a life marked by dedication to family, community, and his business.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Evelyn, his wife Connie, and his brothers Albert Jr., Jim, and Tom. He is lovingly remembered by his sons Matt (Amy) and Darryl (Terri); grandchildren Nicholas, Brett, and Brittany; step-grandsons Zachary (Giselle) and Cody King; several great-grandchildren; along with numerous family members and friends who cherished him dearly.

A proud entrepreneur, Dennis took great pride in building his business and the strong partnership he fostered with United Dairy Farmers. Known for his determination and problem-solving spirit, no challenge was too great for him to tackle, whether by improvisation or by working the problem from the top down. He also found deep fulfillment in serving others through his church and various charitable organizations.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Grace Communion Cincinnati West Church, located at 5000 N. Bend Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM. Inurnment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232. A reception will be held at 3004 Glenmore Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio Room 103 following the graveside service from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM
