Denise Marie Sweet

Denise Marie Sweet, age 45, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025. Born on October 19, 1980, in Cincinnati, she was the cherished daughter of Donald Lee and Donna Lee Hughes (nee Sweet).

Denise is preceded in death by her father, Donald Lee Hughes, Jr. She is lovingly survived by her devoted mother, Donna Lee Hughes, her beloved son, Brian Thompson, and her siblings: James Victor Thomas, Jr., Barbara Hughes, Dawn V. Bayles, Krystle M. Johnson, Bonnie R. Willman, Kayla Hughes, Anna Hughes/Cain, and Cody Hughes. Denise will also be fondly remembered by many extended family members and friends.

A woman of deep affection for her family, Denise’s unwavering devotion to her son, Brian, brought her immense joy. She had a special connection with animals, particularly her dog, Thor, and found joy in listening to a variety of music. She had a strong belief in the Lord.

A visitation to honor Denise's life will be held at Newcomer Cremations-Funerals-Receptions, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 4:00 PM.
