David Koo

David Koo, age 51, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born in Cincinnati on December 17, 1973, to John and Madalyn Koo (nee Pennington).

David was preceded in death by his father, John Koo. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Brandie Koo (nee Klousis); son John Liam Koo; his mother, Madalyn Koo; brothers, John, James, Patrick (Tonia), and Anthony Koo; sisters, Christine, Kathleen (Michael) Goodridge, Teresa (Charles) Saunders, and Rebecca (Daniel) Mollohan; and a host of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A passionate sports fan, David was a die-hard supporter of Ohio State, the Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds. He had a love for woodworking and bowling, proudly participating in the Cincinnati Blind Bowling League. Known for his contagious laugh and storytelling ability, David was a devoted family man who prioritized the well-being of his loved ones above all else. He was recognized for his strong work ethic, having spent over 30 years as a foundry man, and he also worked alongside his brother maintaining vending machines. David exemplified generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, with a visitation preceding it from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45211.
