Darryl Keith Meadors

Darryl Keith Meadors, born on November 14, 1940, in Lucasville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026, in Edgewood, Kentucky. He will be remembered as a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, whose warmth and touched the lives many.

Darryl was a man of great passion and dedication, particularly to his family, who were his pride and joy. He is survived by his sons, Scott Meadors and Chris (Rachel) Meadors, along with his beloved grandchildren, Jordan, Emery, Zakery, and Will Meadors. He held a special place in his heart for each of them, finding immense joy in their achievements and companionship.

A lover of sports, Darryl dedicated much of his younger years to basketball, both as a player and as a coach. His life was not only about sports; he also enjoyed golfing and was known for his social nature, making friends effortlessly wherever he went. His active participation in the community was highlighted by his role as president of the Erlanger Lions Club and the Kentucky Business Referral Group, where he made numerous contributions.

Darryl was known for his deep affection for his pets, often sharing stories of their amusing antics and the comfort they brought him. He created a welcoming home filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Lucille Meadors (nee Merritt), and father, Elbert Meadors, who surely welcomed him with open arms.

Darryl Keith Meadors leaves behind not just a legacy of community involvement and family devotion but also a vast array of friends and loved ones who will remember him fondly for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
