Daniel Warren Ewing, affectionately known as Danny, was born on December 11, 1966, in Covington, Kentucky. He departed this life peacefully on February 25, 2026, in Elsmere, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy of charm and kindness that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Danny was a man with a heart of gold, whose warmth and gentleness resonated with those around him. His life was full of many battles, yet he faced them with an unwaveringly soft-hearted demeanor that drew people to him. He was known for his charming personality and unique ability to connect with others, leaving a lasting impression on friends and family alike.
An avid sports enthusiast, Danny had an impressive knowledge of statistics and player records, showcasing his passion and love for the games. His enthusiasm for sports created a bond with many, as he would share insights and statistics that brought joy and excitement to conversations.
Above all, Danny cherished his family. He is survived by his daughter, Katlynn Macke and his loving sister, Brenda Dixon. Danny's family also includes beloved nephews, Daniel Dixon and Zachariah (Tamara) Conrad, as well as a host of great-nephews: Alexander Dixon, Maximus Dixon, Zayne Conrad, and Kayson Stone. His familial bond was strong and served as the cornerstone of his happiness.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Diana Ewing (nee Adams), whose memory he carried in his heart. Though she is no longer with us, the values she instilled in him live on through his family.
In honoring Danny’s memory, we celebrate a life that, despite its challenges, was rich with love and connection. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he leaves behind, and he will always be remembered as a remarkable individual touched by the kindness and affection he so freely shared.
