Cynthia "Cindy" Weckel

Cynthia L. Weckel, aged 68, of Union, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Born in Middletown, Ohio on October 31, 1956, she was the cherished daughter of James and Phyllis Zinsmeister.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Phyllis Zinsmeister; her father, James Clay; her daughter, Tabitha Taylor; and her sisters, Kathleen Clay Curry, Joyce Clay, Becky Downs, and Susan Brown. She is survived by her devoted husband, Timothy C. Weckel; her son, Shawn (Andrea) Adkins; grandchildren Brennen Adkins, Devon Taylor, Dylan Cox Brilee Rassche, Layne Rassche, Zoey Rider, Zayden Johnson, Zale Rider, her great-grandson, Amari Cook; her goddaughter, Langda (Dave) Brockman; and numerous other family members and friends who will remember her fondly.

Cindy had a passion for crafts and loved watching her grandson race. Cooking and baking brought her joy, and her legacy will be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
