Connie Rae Chaffin

Connie Rae Chaffin, aged 69, of Independence, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Born on March 12, 1957, in Covington, Kentucky, Connie was the beloved daughter of Ray and Vivian Chappell (née Smith).

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Vivian Chappell, and her husband, Ralph E. Chaffin. She is lovingly survived by her children: Adam Bentley, Chad Bentley, and Amber L. (Geoff) Rankin; her cherished grandchildren, Summer R. Hackett and Shane Bentley; great granddaughter, Shiloh R. McDaniel, her siblings, Dave Chappell, Vickie (Les) Ridner, Darlene Lee, and Brenda Stipp; as well as many other family members, nieces and nephew's, and friends who held her dear.

Connie had a passion for bowling, fishing, and gaming. Above all, she treasured her family, enjoyed watching game shows, engaging in heartfelt conversations, and nurturing the beautiful flowers in her yard. She also had a special fondness for her dogs, Tiny and Cherry.

Her warm spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
