Clyde Simes

Clyde Simes, age 80, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025. He was born on July 2, 1945, in Cincinnati. In loving care of Robert and Mattie Simes.

Clyde was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jacquelyn Simes; his daughters, Tonia Simes and Kenya Simes; his sons, Scottie Simes and Patrick Simes; his sister, Patricia; and his sister, Betty. He is survived by his daughters, Carlotta (Bernard) Miller, Tracy (Dante) Gossett, and Karrie (the late Leroy) Wilson ; sister Rosalee; as well as 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Clyde embraced life with joy and enthusiasm. He found pleasure in basketball, enjoyed the company of family, and dedicated 26 years of his career to a steel company. He was known for his love of playing cards, spending time at Woodlawn Park, and sharing laughter with friends and cousins over a glass of wine or beer. Clyde was a devoted father who cherished raising his daughters and was known for his playful spirit, enjoying music, playing bingo, and cooking delicious meals for his loved ones.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 31, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
