ALLEN, Clyde, age 89 of Cincinnati passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014. He was born in Clay County, Kentucky on September 25, 1924 the son of the late Bleve and Rebecca (Hunter) Allen. Clyde was a WWII veteran. He was employed with the Wm. Powell Company for 38 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Littia Allen; his son, Michael Allen; three siblings, Parkie Allen, Lester Allen, and Mary Wilkerson. Clyde is survived by his granddaughter, Margo and her husband Jason Mather; daughter-in-law, Barbara Allen; two great-grandchildren, Chandler and Brookelynn Mather; two sisters, Virgie Messer and Lettie Honley; and many other relatives and friends.
