Christina Lynn Miskell, affectionately known as Christine or Chris, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in Corinth, Kentucky, surrounded by her beloved family after a valiant battle against cancer. She was born on June 6, 1974, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her.
Christine dedicated many years of her life to managing a senior center, where her kindness and selfless service impacted the lives of many elderly individuals. Her career was a reflection of her generous spirit—she approached every challenge with unwavering strength and resilience. Even during her difficult journey with cancer, she never complained, showcasing the same grace and care she was known for throughout her life. She was truly an embodiment of love and thoughtfulness.
Family was everything to Chris. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Joe Miskell, with whom she shared over 30 beautiful years filled with love and companionship. Christine also took immense pride in being a mother to her three sons—Cody (Indigo Thoman) Miskell, Johnathen Miskell, and Joseph Miskell. To them, she was not just a parent but an unwavering hero, always supportive, protective, and encouraging. Her love for her family was profound, and she cherished every moment spent enjoying nature, especially hiking and searching for waterfalls surrounded by wildflowers and butterflies.
Christine's loving spirit extended beyond her immediate family to her mother, Brenda Miller (nee Sherman), who will forever hold her treasure of memories close to her heart. She also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends who will remember her not just for her caring nature, but for the way she made each person feel valued and loved. Her warmth and generosity will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to have known her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Randall Bullock, her grandmother, Myrtle Sherman, her mother-in-law, Sharon Miskell, and her father-in-law, John "Butch" Miskell. Their love and memories will forever remain a cherished part of her legacy.
A visitation in Christine's honor will be held on August 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place, after which she will be laid to rest at Independence Cemetery, 5358 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051, at 2:00 PM.
As we gather to celebrate Christine’s life, we find comfort in the love she gave so freely, her unwavering spirit, and the legacy she leaves behind in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
