Charles R. Vitatoe, age 74, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on December 3, 2025. Born in Harlen, Kentucky, on July 23, 1951, he was the cherished son of Marvin and Lorene Vitatoe (nee Harding).
Charles was preceded in death by his beloved father, Marvin Vitatoe; his dear mother, Lorene Vitatoe; and his son, Brandon Vitatoe. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Rose Vitatoe (nee Campbell); his sons, Charles Vitatoe, Jr. and Elvis (Brandy) Vitatoe; his daughters, Nicole (Jim) King and Priscilla (William) Vitatoe; his son, Cheyenne (Christina) Vitatoe; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A proud United States Army veteran, Charles served in Vietnam, showcasing his commitment to his country. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State football, passionately cheering for his teams. Known for his love of history, Charles had a keen mind and a warm heart. He brought laughter and joy to those around him, as he was, at heart, a comedian.
