Charles W. Hughes

Charles Windfield Hughes, age 83, of West Chester, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born on November 11, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Edison R. and Lorain Hughes (nee Free).

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Edison R. Hughes, and mother, Lorain Hughes. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Charles R. Hughes and Shawn Hughes. His cherished grandchildren include Stephanie R. (Joseph) Keith, Shannon R. Hughes, Chelsea R. Witt, and Dominic Collett, along with a host of other family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

A proud US Navy Veteran, Charles served his country with honor.

A visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations - Funerals - Receptions, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211, on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A funeral service will commence at 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at New St. Joseph Cemetery.
