Charlene Ann Washington

Charlene Ann Washington, age 68, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025. She was born in Cincinnati on June 5, 1957, to the late Charles and Grace Washington.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Grace Washington, as well as her siblings: Kim, William, and Todd Washington. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Chontea (Marcus Barksdale) Washington; her son, Fredrick D. (Brandi) Washington; and her daughter, Caleela Hopkins. Charlene cherished her grandchildren: Kyliah Richards, Mekhi Barksdale, Calise Hopkins, Mario Barksdale, Favor Washington, and Brave Washington. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Loyal Ridley. Charlene is survived by her brothers Terry, Tracy, and Terrence Washington, along with a host of other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Charlene's life was filled with love and joy. She had a passion for family gatherings, especially cookouts, where laughter and stories were shared. She enjoyed being pampered, especially getting her nails done, and loved shopping, music, and dancing. Charlene was a warm and friendly person who had a way of making everyone feel welcome; no one was ever a stranger to her.
