Cecil Christopher

Cecil Dale Christopher, age 67, of Highland Heights, Kentucky, passed away at his home while surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Born in Paris, Kentucky, on July 3, 1958, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Dorcas Christopher (nee Mattox).

Cecil is survived by his cherished wife of 32 years, Krista M. Christopher (nee Wehrman). He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughters Amanda M. (Jerome) Scalf, Katherine D. Shadoan (Matthew Howard), and Abigail J. Christopher (Caleb Huth); his sons Kenneth T. Christopher (Heatherae Slade) and Brandon D. Christopher (Melinda Byus). Cecil was also a very proud grandfather to Caitlyn J. Scalf, Caleb D.J. Scalf, Maddison A. Christopher, Isabella A. Howard, Cameron D. Christopher, Justify K. Christopher, Dalton L. Christopher, Olivia M. Howard, Mason S. Byus, Journey J. Christopher, Kyan D.R. Slade, and Finnley C. Huth. He is further survived by his brother Steve (Teresa) Christopher, along with many other family members and friends who will miss him very dearly.

Cecil had a deep passion for sports, particularly the Cincinnati Bengals and Kentucky Wildcats. Cecil also loved and treasured his moments spent fishing. Cecil was a friend to many with a heart of gold- everywhere he went he knew old friends and if he didn’t he made new friends. Above all, he loved his family deeply and especially cherished the time spent with his grandchildren.
