Carole Lee Edington, 85, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2024. Born on January 2, 1939 in Shelbyville, Kentucky and spent her childhood on a dairy farm in Bagdad, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Selbert “Buck” Lee and Eula Mae Edington (née Bryant).
Carole’s life was marked by her passion for music and education. She brought joy to many through her performances with the Sweet Adelines and her gospel quartet, whose success led to the release of a cherished record. Her dedication to teaching was evident in her lifelong career at Ross High School, where she nurtured and inspired countless students, treating them as if they were her own children.
An avid freelance photographer, Carole also had a knack for helping friends and neighbors navigate the complexities of technology. Her kindness and generosity extended to all aspects of her life, leaving a lasting impact on those she met.
Carole is survived by her sister, Jeanine Edington, and nephews, Jason (Danielle) Farabee and Chad (Jaime) Farabee. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and a host of friends who were blessed to know her.
