Listen to Obituary

Carl L. Bollman, 76, passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him most.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth Bollman and then his brother Bobby Bollman.

Carl was a devoted husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather who lived a life full of passion and purpose. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 39 years, Sandy, his daughter Carla, his niece Stacey, and several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward his spirit and his stories.

Carl’s career mirrored his life of helping others. He drove a wrecker for Urbs pGarage for 35 years then retired but couldn’t sit at home so began his second career driving a dump truck at Common Construction for 14 years

Carl had a fierce love for NASCAR and drag racing — the roar of the engines and the smell of the track were among his greatest joys. If you ever went looking for him, the first place you’d find him was in the garage, tinkering, fixing, and creating with his hands. Inside the house, he enjoyed relaxing with hours of crime dramas, especially NCIS, never tired of unraveling a good mystery.

He will be remembered for his big heart, his sense of humor, and the way he never hesitated to help family and friends. Carl’s life was a blend of grit, laughter, and love, and his memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.
