Bryon Leist

Bryon Leist, aged 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026. Born on August 30, 1958, in Cincinnati, he was the cherished son of Elaine and the late Leroy Leist.

Bryon is lovingly remembered by his wife of 13 years, Lynn Leist (née Ostrander); his mother, Elaine Leist; sister, Shelley Weghorst; niece, Ashley Dorsey (Kyle); nephew, Christopher Weghorst (Erika); great-nephews, Parker, Tanner, and Calvin; great-niece, Berkley; mother-in-law, Madeleine Hernandez; father-in-law, John Ostrander, and many dear friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy, and his sons, Matthew and Jason Leist.

Bryon was an avid motorcyclist and boating enthusiast, especially on Lake Cumberland. He was a devoted son, brother, father, and husband who also found joy in playing pool. After a courageous battle with cancer, Bryon's legacy of love and strength endures in the hearts of all who knew him.
