Bruce William Planeaux passed away on October 24, 2026, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He was born on July 18, 1939, in Jamestown, New York.
Over the course of his life, he built a legacy through hard work, service to others, and steady devotion to his family and community.
For many years, Bruce owned and operated the Newport McDonald’s, where he became known to many through his work and presence in the community. He supported many charities, and he was remembered for making sure first responders were fed in the aftermath of the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda Planeaux; his father, Victor Planeaux; his mother, Dorothy Planeaux; and his sisters, Eleanor McCall and Linda Baker.
Bruce is survived by his children, Ronald (Cynthia) Planeaux, Michelle (Takis) Georgoulakis, and Stephen Planeaux. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will remember him with love.
