Audrey Roark, a vibrant and loving member of her family and community, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on September 30, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on May 7, 1940, in Laurel Creek, Kentucky, she lived an extraordinary life dedicated to her family, friends, and community.

Audrey spent 20 years as a manager with Internal Revenue Service in the ESP Exam department, where she demonstrated her exceptional leadership skills and left a lasting impact on her coworkers. Throughout her life, she was known as the glue that held her family together, radiating warmth and love. Her vibrant personality endeared her to everyone who crossed her path, and she built meaningful connections with all around her.

A proud mother, Audrey was blessed with the joy of watching her family grow. She is survived by her daughter, Robyn (Darron) Jouett; her grandchildren, Charles (Kay) Jouett, Tyler Jouett, Andrea (Jacob) Williams, Noah (Makia) Jouett, and Logan (Alexa) Jouett; as well as her great-grandchildren, Nyla, Zeb, Zach, Zander, Max, Jaylon, Jewel, Axel, and Michael, and Ella Mae. She cherished the moments spent cheering from the sidelines at her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's sports games, an integral part of her proudest accomplishments.

Audrey was also a beloved sister, surviving her brother RB Sester, sister Sherry Reid, and brother Jerry (Patsy) Sester. Also surviving is her best friend of 64 years, Dana Templeton, who she worked with at the IRS - you rarely saw one without the other; and her best friend of over 40 years, Phyllis Waltz who she traveled with on cruises and played BINGO with. Audrey was also a cherished aunt to numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Sester (nee Bishop), father, Ernest Sester, husband of 64 years, Chet Roark, brother, Kay Sester and nephews, Rick and David Sester.

In her spare time, Audrey enjoyed engaging in various activities that brought her joy and fulfillment. She loved God, family, and church, and had a passion for sports, particularly the Reds and UK Basketball Wildcats. A creative soul, she often crafted baby blankets for the new babies in the family, reflecting her nurturing spirit. Her interests included traveling, bowling, BINGO, playing cards, and Yahtzee, as well as square dancing. She found joy in spending time at the Florence Senior Center, where she embarked on bus tours and cruises with her friends, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. She met her special friend, Bob, at the Senior Center and they shared many memories and adventures together in her later years.

Audrey's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her presence will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those she left behind.
