Arvenia Sue Allen, age 70, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. She was born in Cincinnati on February 16, 1955, to Gobel and Venia Ferguson (nee Sparks).
Arvenia was preceded in death by her father, Gobel Doyle; her daughter, Christina Allen; and her brother, Tony Doyle. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 52 years, John Allen; her mother, Venia (Ernie Ferguson) Ferguson; her son, John (Catherine) Allen, II; and her cherished grandchildren: Courtney Burd, Kaitlyn Allen, Zachary (Claire) Allen, Caleigh Allen, Carlee Allen, Cristin Allen, Carisa Allen, Brody Allen. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Armani Rothwell, Edwin Wallers IV, Lei'lanni Rothwell, Cody Wallers, Alani Rothwell; her sister, Mitzie Borgemenke; brothers, Ronald (Roseanne) Doyle and Ritchie (Sharon) Doyle; along with a host of other family members and friends.
Arvenia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She dedicated 30 years of her life working for the IRS, where she was known for her strong work ethic and kindness. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as enjoying country music and singing around her home. Arvenia was admired for her beautiful smile and her contagious laughter.
A visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations-Funerals-Receptions, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio, on January 7, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery.
