Arthur E. Minges

Minges, Arthur Edward age 88, of Worthville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. He was born in Miamitown, Ohio on August 10, 1934 to Carl Minges and Cecelia Minges (nee Walters).

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Mary Margaret Rogge, and sons, Michael A. Minges, Kenneth Stamper and Robert James Stamper. Arthur is survived by his beloved wife, Martha Jane Minges (nee Bellamy); loving children, Steven (Kathy) Minges, Gloria (Fred) Taphorn, Pam (Dan) Fitch, Rick (Tina) Stamper, Debbie (Dan) Ollberding, Tony (Dianne) Stamper, Dee (Scott) Wilson, and Phillip (Heather) Stamper; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Barbara (the late Gordan) Kurtz and Anita (David) Holmes; brother, Daniel (Ruthie) Minges; and a host of other family members and friends.

Arthur spent his professional career working in the dairy farming industry. He was a United States Army Veteran. Arthur loved old cars, gardening, reading books, especially religious books. He was very active with his church, Our Lady of the Assumption. He adored his family and was an especially loving husband.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 1:00 pm until Mass at 1:30 pm, all at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 472 Beaver Rd, Walton, KY 41094. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 10:00 am at Miamitown Cemetery aka Miami Cemetery, Hamilton Cleves Road, (State Route 128), Miamitown, Ohio, 45041 (Exit 7 off of I-74/275 in Ohio).
