Arthur Edward Guard

Arthur Edward Guard, age 70, of Colerain Township, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 9, 1954, he was the cherished son of Norma Senteney (nee Hill), who preceded him in death.

Arthur is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Teresa Lynn Guard (nee Muller), and their loving children: Tracy Lynn (Christopher) Allen, Danielle P. Guard, Cheryl K. Knotts, Jeremiah D. Guard, and Stella D. Kroeger. He took great joy in his role as a grandfather, blessed with 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Arthur is also survived by his brother, Donald Guard, and sister, Cheryl Roberts, along with a host of other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A master pool player and an enthusiastic participant in ping pong and darts, Arthur cherished family gatherings filled with games, particularly the game Sequence. Notably, his love for his family was evident in all aspects of his life, as he considered everyone he met to be a part of his extended family. He took pride in maintaining a pristine yard and enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially his beloved Harley.

A graveside service to honor Arthur’s memory will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Reading Cemetery, located at 200 W. Columbia Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.
