Anthony Lee Ritson

Anthony (Tony) Ritson, age 66, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026 in Cincinnati, OH. Born on February 18, 1960 in Toledo, Ohio, Tony was the son of Mary O’Connell (nee Seward) and Donald “Nick” Ritson.

Tony was preceded in death by his father Nick Ritson, his stepfather Donald O’Connell, and his beloved dog Maddy. Tony was the funniest man in a room. He was full of charisma and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He was an animal lover, especially dogs, and a sports aficionado. He loved his family deeply.

Tony is remembered by his mother, Mary O’Connell; his daughters Alexandra Ritson (Ross Johnson) and Alyssa Ritson (Anthony Palermo); grandchildren Anders Ritson-Johnson, Margot Ritson-Johnson, Luca Palermo, and Milo Palermo; his brothers Jeff (Caroline) Ritson and Marty (Jennifer) Ritson); his sister Renee Wittenbach and her partner William Damon; as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.
