Annie Mae Glover, age 74, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, she was born in Montgomery, Alabama on December 22, 1950, to Andrew and Mary Gill.
She was preceded in death by her father Andrew Gill; two brothers David Gill and Walter Gill.
Annie spent nearly 5 decades with Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS). She could be found loving on children at Carl School, Gamble, Roll Hill, North Fairmont, Bloom, and most recently West Wood Elementary School. Annie retired and only to return to her love of working with students.
Annie was truly the life of the party - full of laughter, love, and light. She loved to travel and embraced every opportunity to explore new places, collect memories, and connect with others. Annie was also known for peanut butter cookies and her love of sewing.
She was a dear and loyal friend, and the kind of person who made everyone feel like family. Nearly every Saturday, Annie could be found shopping with her mother and daughter affectionately known as "the Old Lady Gang” sharing laughs, stories, and love across generations.
Annie's legacy lives on in the heart of her children, daughter Theresa (Eric) Hayes, two sons Michael (Toinette) Glover and Adam Squire; goddaughter Michelle Mcneill; sisters Mary Frances (Mckinely) Brown and Ida Dixon; brothers Andrew Gill and Wayne Gill, 15 great-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends whose lives she touched.
A visitation will take place Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 9am- 10am located at Northwest Community Church 8735 Cheviot Road, Cincinnati, OH 45251 with a service starting at 10am.
