Angela Sims

Angela Marie Sims (George), lovingly known as Angie, passed away at the age of 52 on February 14th, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on January 12th, 1974, in Louisville, Kentucky, to her late parents, Florence and Richard George. Raised in Charlestown, Indiana, Angie completed her education at Charlestown High School, graduating with the class of 1993. In 2002, she married her late husband, Warren "Bryan" Sims, with whom she shared many years of companionship and love.

Angie is survived by her three beloved children: Allen George of Florida; Matthew Stacy (Emily) of Indiana; and Victoria Lawson (Metta) of Texas. She is also survived by her two sisters, Robin Booth (Mike) and Ida (Dontrice), both of Indiana. Angie leaves behind three adored grandchildren: AJ George, Travis George, and Damon George, all of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bryan, her parents Florence and Richard, as well as many cousins, friends, and loved ones who are fondly remembered.

Known for her warm and outgoing spirit, Angie treasured her role as "Nana" above all else. She found immense joy in her grandchildren and would do anything for them. Angie enjoyed creating diamond art paintings and, for a time, was dedicated to selling Paparazzi Jewelry. She loved trips to the beach and spontaneous road trips without a set destination. Her unique, independent spirit was well-known, and she always danced to the beat of her own drum. Angie's creativity and caring heart touched the lives of many, creating a lasting impact on her friends and family.

In accordance with Angie's wishes, no services will be held at this time. She will be cremated, honoring her desire for simplicity and privacy in her final arrangements. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
