Alice Meissner, age 79, of Green Township, Ohio, was called home on June 17, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on November 28, 1945, to the loving parents Robert and Edith Erhardt (nee Rhinecker), Alice lived a remarkable life filled with warmth and compassion.
Proud of her German heritage, Alice dedicated time to researching her ancestry, tracing her family's roots back to Germany. Her friendly spirit knew no bounds; she could make a friend out of anyone she met. Alice's hugs were legendary, wrapping you in warmth that made you feel profoundly loved. She was a true child of nature, finding joy in gardening, visiting parks, and cherishing the great outdoors. To her, there was a seamless bond between the natural world and the spiritual realm-a belief that further enlightened those around her.
Alice was known for her incredible strength and kindness. Always ready to lend a helping hand, she cherished her family above all, showering her grandchildren with love and affection. Her home on the West Side of Cincinnati was a sanctuary filled with laughter, love, and countless beautiful memories.
Alice was preceded in death by her dear parents, Robert and Edith Erhardt, who lovingly shaped her into the person we remember today.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, William Meissner; her daughters, Mindy Meissner, Lori (Eric) Pelzer, and Molly (Jeremy) Bell; her cherished grandchildren, Max Theuerling, Sam Pelzer, Sydney Pelzer, Owen Pelzer, Zoe Bell, Phoebe Bell, and Daphne Bell; her sisters, Susan Richardson and Barbara Khalili; along with a host of other family members and friends whose lives she touched.
As we celebrate Alice’s extraordinary life and the countless memories she created, we invite you to share any thoughts or fond remembrances in the guestbook below, honoring a beautiful soul who will be dearly missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
