Raymond "Uncle Pete, Peter Bone" Ervin age 74, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 5, 1948 to the late Willie and Mary Ervin (nee Johnson).

He is survived by his Daughters , Melvina (Garry) Pounds, Shontay McCree, and Brandy Massey, Mother, Grandchildren, Curtis Martin, Cortez Martin, Sierra McCree, Sharonna McCree, Kareem McCree, , Keyasia Dickey, Dwayne Dickey and Jason Massey. 11 Great Grandchildren Also by his brothers and sisters, Michael Ervin, Stanford Ervin, David Ervin, Joanne Ervin, Mary Ervin, Bonnie Ervin; and by many nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.

Raymond was originally hired by the City of Cincinnati in July 1968, and his separation date was in August 1986. Through the years he had a few different positions, starting originally in the Recreation Department and later in the Parks Dept, and then finally in the Sanitation Dept. Pete loved his daughters dearly, playing cards, and spending time with friends and family.

Funeral Ceremony will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 27, 2023 with a visitation from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
