Joseph R Jackson, age 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. He was born in Cleves, Ohio on December 15, 1935 to Joseph S and Loretta Jackson (nee Corboy).

He was preceded in death by parents, and his brother, John Jackson

Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Deloris Jackson (nee Feeney). He is the father of Andrew (Michelle) and Jay (Catherine) Jackson. Joseph is the grandfather of Cameron and Garrett, and the great grandfather of Blayke Lorraine. Joseph is the brother of James Jackson, Kathleen Baird and Barbara Polleys.

Joseph was a longtime member of the Greater Cincinnati Deaf Club and the Flying Fingers Senior Citizens. In his younger years, he was an award winning model airplane builder. In his later years he became a firearms enthusiast. He was an NRA Lifetime member.

Visitation is Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211) from 12 Noon until the service at 2:00 PM.

In loving memory of Joseph, contributions may be made to the St Rita's School for the Deaf, 1720 Glendale Milford Road, Cincinnati, Ohio (45215)
