Constance “Connie” Weitzel, age 92 of Harrison, OH, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022. Connie was born in Covington, Kentucky on August 2, 1930, to Euell and Genevieve Guilick (nee Goetting).

Connie was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Cletus Weitzel Sr., her daughter, Christine Girdler (nee Weitzel), her son, Cletus (Cowboy) Weitzel Jr. and her brothers, Charles Guilick and Jeffery Reynolds.

Connie is survived by her sister, Blanche Pelfry, her brother, Thomas (Bozy) Guilick, her son-in-law, Charlie Girdler and her daughter-in-law, Terri Weitzel.

Connie is the the grandmother of Charles Girdler, Christopher Girdler, Lisa Nieson (nee Weitzel), Cletus (Cle) Weitzel, III, and the great grandmother of Haley, Emma, Gia, Eli, Noah, Tia, Ava, Cletus IV, Kellen, Sydney, Martina, Kendra, and Jordan, She leaves behind numerous other family and friends.

Connie spent more than two decades as a nurse’s aide working for the Little Sisters of The Poor. Connie loved her job and looked forward to going to work every day. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family and she loved and cherished them deeply. Connie could be found reading books by her favorite author, James Patterson, or doing crossword puzzles. Connie watched Jeopardy every night and would not miss it for anything; if it was Monday night she had on American Ninja Warrior.

Visitation will be Friday, December 2, 2022 at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211) from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
