He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Haley (nee Williams); son, Tony Maples; siblings, Charles Haley, Howard Haley, David Haley, Dorothy Lawson, Sylvia Smith, Kenneth Haley; and his parents. Ray is survived by his loving children, Kerri M. (Rick) Hines, Chris (Rebecca) Maples, Tina (Jack) Huddleston and Kim Thomas; grandchildren, John (Pam) Marlowe, Jessica Marlowe, Shaylen (Alyssa) Clover, Sarah Maples, Chandler Maples, Kayla (Randy) Davis, Lindy Gonzales, Emily Alvis, Demi Gonzales, Kayle Guy, Colin Hines, Sean Thomas; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Grant (Peggy) Haley, Marilyn (the late Archie) North, Jimmy (Betty) Haley, Albert "Junior" Haley; and a host of other family members and friends.
Ray proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Ray cherished his family, most especially his grandkids. He was a very talented contractor that enjoyed working on home projects and remodeling. Ray's favorite pastime was watching and playing the horse races. He also enjoyed watching old Western movies and TV shows.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Military Honors and Sharing of Memories will begin at 1:00 pm all at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
