James M. Dageforde, 69, of West Chester, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was born in Marion, Ohio on August 11, 1953 to the late Norman C. and Rovene Dageforde (nee Ringgenberg).

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Becky Truax and Jane Wennberg. James is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Barbara Dageforde (nee Knippenberg); son, Jason (Deanna) Dageforde; daughter, Erin (Travis, Sr.) Detjen; grandsons, Travis J. Detjen, Jr., and Jayden M. Detjen; granddaughter, Lilith N. Dageforde; and a host of other family members and friends.

While he enjoyed relaxing, watching nature, having an occasional beer, lottery scratch off tickets and keno; he enjoyed the most being around family and friends, and catching up on all their recent life adventures.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm - 2:00pm with a Celebration of Life immediately following at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
