The Life of Shameelah Englemon

Shameelah Englemon was born on December 16th, 1974, with her twin sister (Jameelah Englemon), in Covington Kentucky to Rudoph and Anna Meeks. She was called home younger than most at the age of 47. She worked selflessly as a nurse for many years, but eventually retired to work as a security guard for the remainder of her time. Her hobbies included being out in nature, listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She was a strong and caring soul who valued her family. She loved to laugh and enjoyed the simpler things in life. She is survived by her four children, Ubadah A. Englemon, Falisha Tucker, Shanay J. Laspes (Jeffreys), Charles E. Loper, IV. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 11 am - 12 pm at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45231. A Graveside Service will follow at 1 pm at Mary E. Smith Cemetery, 1120 Plateau St, Elsmere, KY 41018.
