Herbert B Herbers, Jr., "Herb" age 80, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 14, 1942 to Herbert B and Anna Marie Herbers (nee Vehr).

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his son, Nick, and his sister, Mary Carol Weidner.

Herb is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Grace M Herbers (nee Nemann), his children, Joe (Trish) Herbers, and Jennifer (Matt) Birkle, his grandchildren Alex (Lydia), Logan and Barry Herbers, Sean, Brianna and Lauren Birkle.

A long time member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Herb was an usher, a coach, member of the Old Timers Softball Team and the Men's Club where he worked with the Sauerkraut Supper and Easter Egg hunt. Along with his wife Grace and a group of other parishioners Herb was responsible for bringing back the Lourdes Family Festival and dedicating over 20 years to its operation.

He is a St X Alumnus and an XU graduate. He enjoyed cooking, baking pies, gardening and watching sports with his sons. He was a handyman, a wonderful resource for car and home repair advice.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211). Please join the family for the funeral mass, Thursday, June 30, at 10 AM in Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial will follow in St Joseph Old Cemetery.
