In Memory Of
Roland Lydell Graves
1954 - 2022

Roland Lydell Graves was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 2, 1954 to the late Thomas H. Graves Sr. and Elain Graves. He was the second of four children. He grew up is West College Hill, attended Stelle School, and graduated from North College Hill High School. He was a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. He worked at General Electric and Formica AAA.

Roland loved music and in the 70’s and 80’s he was a DJ for many throughout the city. He loved to call into the Lincoln Ware radio show where he was known as “G”. He also loved to shoot pool.

He lost his sight early in life and became disabled in body, but his mind was sharp. He kept up with all the news and whatever was going on around him.

Roland leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, Elaine; two brothers, Thomas Jr. (Judy) and Maurice (Barbara); one sister, Natalie; nieces and nephews, Maria, Thomas III (Lavette) Nicole, Lesli (Rico), Dani, Alena, Adrianna, Austin, Rashaad, Lauryn, Thomas IV, Jackson, Raquell and Ryann; special cousins, Carolyn, Yvonne, Ralph (Donna), Joyce (Tony) and Lucretia; special friends, Deborah Howard, Carl Smith (Yvonne), Nadi Johnson; and a host of relatives family and friends.
