Melson, Carolyn "Pat" Joy age 91, of Mason, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on May 14, 1930 to the late Thomas and Ada Tiernan (nee Bates).

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and father of her children, Robert "Bob" Eugene Melson, I, sons, Robert Eugene Melson, II and Gerald Melson, daughter, Sandra Joy Drexler and second husband, Jonathan "Jack" Joseph Miller. Pat is survived by her beloved children, Connie J. (Jim) Smith and Tom Melson; grandchildren, Robert "Rob" Eugene Melson, III, James Kevin Melson, Angela Marie (Frank) Bogosh, Lindsay Jean (Matt) Drexler and Jimmie Robert (Ashley) Smith; great-grandchildren, Allan, Owen, Aidan, Dylan and Lincoln; sister-in-law, Ruth Tiernan; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Pat, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.act.alz.org/. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
