Opal G. Carter, age 88, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. She was born in Waynesburg, Kentucky on May 29, 1933 to Richard A and Irene B. Jacobs (nee Leigh).

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John E. Carter, Sr., son, Timmy Carter, daughter, Millie Dillion, father, Richard A Jacobs, mother, Irene B. Jacobs, siblings, Herbert G. Jacobs, Delza M. Grier, Jess S. Jacobs, Lucy J. Hutchin, Lola B. Mason, Edward H. Jacobs, and Charles R. Jacobs.

Opal is survived by her children, Hobert (Sue) Mason, Ray (Piyen) Carter, Vickie (Mark) Sawyers, John (Debbie) Carter, Jr., Terry (Tracy) Carter, Donna (Gary) Perry, Mark (Becky) Carter, Robin (Charles) Wallace, Kenny (Amy) Carter; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis A. Smith, Connie M. Bradshaw; son-in-law, Henry Dillion; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be 12:00 pm Friday, November 19, 2021 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Covington Church of God, 1103 Banklick Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011
