In Memory Of
Carrie Ann Minniear
1968 - 2021
Carrie graduated from Wyoming High School in 1987. She graduated from Sinclair College in 1998 with a degree in Registered Nursing. She was an RN who worked as a floor nurse at both Deaconess Hospital and Ft. Hamilton Hospital, before becoming a Case Manager at United Healthcare.
Carrie enjoyed spending time at her "Home Away From Home" at Brookville Lake with family and friends. She enjoyed football, music, car shows, riding in the Volkswagen Thing and the golf cart at the lake with the dog, Ollie aka "Buddha".
Carrie was a devoted mother who attended every event that her daughter, Sadie, was a part of growing up. She supported her daughter through everything from playing football to earning her CDL license. She was a caregiver who took her bonus kids under her wings and really supported them as her own. She treated everyone as family and she lit up a room with her contagious smile!
She was preceded in death by her beloved pets, Oliver and Peacko.
Carrie is survived by her beloved daughter, Sadie (Bethany ) Minniear; partner of 17 years, Bill Anhofer; mother, Karen (John) Willinger; father, Michael (Linda) Myers; brother, James Maxwell Myers; step-siblings, Lester (Diane) Myers, and Jill (Logan) Webb; bonus kids, Jessica (Bryan) Gabbard, Victoria (Cory) Simmons, and John "JJ" Combs, Jr.; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; best friend, Tara (Steve) Snellings; and a host of other family members and friends.
Family and Friends will gather on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:00PM at the funeral home.
