Edward E. Smith, age 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 15, 1941 to Edward C. and Annabelle Smith (nee Weimar).

Edward graduated from Central High School in 1959. He worked for 38 years at Premier Southern Ticket Company until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and growing tomatoes.

He was preceded in death by parents; son-in-law, Daniel Chapman; and beloved dog, Spuds.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Joyce Smith (nee Fisher); daughter, Kimberly Chapman; son, Kelley (Elizabeth) Smith; grandchildren, Katelyn Chapman, Madison Smith, Brady Smith, and Hunter Smith; several nieces and nephews, and in-laws; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Edward , contributions may be made to Immanuel UCC, 1520 Queen City Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45214, or the local Heart Association or Cancer Society.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, from 6:00 to 8:00PM.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00AM with Rev. Walter "Bud" McMurray officiating. There will be a visitation prior to services from 10:30 to 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
