Jesse Woodson James, age 63, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 28, 1958 to Jesse L. and Hattie James (nee Suttles).

He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Darby James; and his parents.

Jesse is survived by his beloved wife, Hazel James (nee Darby); siblings, Frank James, Chyena Spilker, and Jeff James; step-daughter, Evelyn Kemadjou; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, Ohio. The celebration of life funeral service will begin at 6:00PM at the funeral home.
