Tyrone (TYRAT) Wilson was born on May 10, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed this life on Thursday, February 18, 2021 while a patient at Arbors of Milford Nursing Home. As God called his son home to be with Him as he was with Christ spiritually on earth, so now he will forever be with him. He was preceded in death by his father, James Robinson, Sr.; his mother, Lola Montez Wilson; three sisters, Reverend Marlene Wilson, Linda Wilson, and Loraine Robinson; three brothers, Percy Wilson, Ralph Robinson, and Terry Robinson.
Tyrone is survived by his beloved wife of 27 plus years, Sharon Wilson. He worked for the City of Cincinnati for 30 plus years to enjoy his full retirement. He became bored and couldn't stay still so he returned to work for Meals on Wheels. He was a hard worker and a good provider. He loved everyone, especially his children. He was a stylish dresser and a very cool guy. He was a generous person and always looked out for others. He held his brother, Kenny, dear to his heart.
Tyrone accepted Christ at a young age and attended New St. Paul Baptist Church. His life has been a gift and a blessing to all his family, friends and many other lives that he touched. We will miss his beautiful smile and big heart. Two of his favorite phrases were "It's a beautiful thaang" and "Hallelujah!" His favorite pastime was cooking, grilling, singing, dancing and telling jokes.
He continues to live in the hearts and minds of his children: Tyrone (Lavonna) Wilson, Jr., Crystal Wilson, Montez (Zonneya) Taylor, Porsche Lewis, Keyng Wilson, Stacey Wilson; step-sons, Vonnell (Yolanda) Taylor and Miniko (Cynthia) Taylor; his grandkids, Tashia, Juanyar, Starla, Jaidon, Taishon, Malia, Destiny, Erin, Sa'Mya, Danielle, Braylon, DShon, William, Montez, Zamarrion, Zamarrah, and Kayle; one great-granddaughter born on his birthday, Ayla.
Left to cherish his memory: four sisters, Pamela Newman, Jacqueline Williams (Elijah, Jr.), Brenda Lee Robinson, Wanda Hill; six brothers, Jeffrey Wilson, Kenneth Ray Wilson, Ray Anthony Wilson (Margie), James Edwards E. Family and friends may gather on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy. The funeral service will begin at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
