Michael Denton, aka "Mike", "Mick", "Mickey", age 73, of Fort Thomas, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 29, 1947 to Clarence Michael and Anna Marie Denton (nee Jones). He was most known as a talented singer, guitar player and songwriter in Cincinnati.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Jill Denton (nee Schultz); daughter, Lori (Kevin) Hagerty; sister, Gloria Bierman; grandsons, Dalton Mallery, Jake Hagerty; nephews, Scott (Susan) Bierman, Danny (Kate) Bierman; great-niece, Violet Bierman; and a host of other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held by the family at York Street Café, 738 York Street, Newport, KY, 41075. A date will be set this Summer.

In loving memory of Michael, contributions may be made to Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth, St. Elizabeth Foundation, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017. A personalized fund is being set up at Cancer Research Institute for Merkel Cell Carcinoma. Information will be provided in the future.
