Darryl Ray Roberts
1953 - 2021

Darryl Ray Roberts, age 67, of Edgewood, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 17, 1953 to Morris Coleman and Mary Joy Roberts (nee Marksberry).

Darryl was an extremely devoted and loving husband to his wife, Jaynee. He was the kind of person that was never down on himself. He always saw the good in people and was an all around happy human being. Darryl was the life of the party and quite a jokester. He was always playing tricks on all of his friends and family. He was a selfless person and was religiously giving to others. He always made sure that everyone was taken care of first before he focused on himself and was there for anyone in need. Darryl never met a stranger, and if he had your phone number he would make a point to call you multiple times throughout the day to ensure you were doing okay. He had the biggest heart and was truly one of the most down to earth people you would ever meet. He was a hard worker and was passionate about life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Derrick Smith, and brother, Davey Roberts.

Darryl is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Jaynee Roberts (nee Lacheney); children, Sarah Kemple, Nicholas Deschamps, Mika M. Roberts-Hintzemann, Kiiah K. Roberts; grandchildren, Sophia Roberts, Claire Kemple, Jack Kemple, Grayson Roberts-Bone, Sawyer Roberts-Bone, Brennon Smith, Bayden Deschamps, Isabella Deschamps, Bryson Deschamps, Benson Deschamps, Logan Deschamps; siblings, Gary Roberts, Danny Roberts, Jerry Roberts, Billy Roberts, Kevin Roberts, Kelly Sunday, Peggy Cox, Debbie Hilley; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Darryl, contributions may be made to made to the family to help defray from funeral costs.
