Nació en Maravatio, Michoacán, México, el 13 de septiembre de 1969, hijo de José Carmen Vargas Quinto y Anastasia Rojas Bibiano. Avelino era bien conocido como un hombre de familia amable y cariñoso. Era muy accesible y amigable, nunca conoció a un extraño y siempre se veía con una sonrisa en la cara. Avelino aprendió en el trabajo y era dedicado. Nunca dejó de reunir a los demás en todos los lugares a los que iba. Avelino será inmensamente querido y extrañado por toda su familia y todos sus amigos.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus hermanos, Celerino Vargas Rojas y Porfirio Vargas Rojas.
A Avelino le sobreviven su amada esposa Delia Vargas Guerrero; sus hijos, Cristian Vargas Guerrero, Jennifer (Nathanael Johnston) Vargas Guerrero, Nancy Vargas Guerrero, Jocelyn Vargas Guerrero, Camila Vargas Guerrero; su nieta, Giovanna N. Johnston; padres, José Carmen Vargas Quinto y Anastasia Rojas Bibiano; hermanos, Amalia Vargas Rojas, Félix Vargas Rojas, Angela Vargas Rojas, María De La Luz Vargas Rojas, Manuel Vargas Rojas, Rodolfo Vargas Rojas, Susana Vargas Rojas, Luis Vargas Rojas, Jesús Vargas Rojas; sobrino, Alfonso García; sobrina, Guillermina Ortega; y un montón de otros familiares y amigos.

Avelino Vargas Rojas, age 51, of Southgate, Kentucky passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021. He was born in Maravatio, Michoacan, Mexico on September 13, 1969 to Jose Carmen Vargas Quinto and Anastasia Rojas Bibiano. Avelino was well known as a selfless family man. Being very approachable and friendly, he never met a stranger and was always seen with a smile on his face. Avelino was self educated and dedicated. He never failed to bring others together everywhere he went. Avelino will be immensely by his entire family and all of his friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Celerino Vargas Rojas, and Porfirio Vargas Rojas.
Avelino is survived by his beloved wife Delia Vargas Guerrero; children, Cristian Vargas Guerrero, Jennifer (Nathanael Johnston) Vargas Guerrero, Nancy Vargas Guerrero, Jocelyn Vargas Guerrero, Camila Vargas Guerrero; granddaughter, Giovanna N. Johnston; parents, Jose Carmen Vargas Quinto and Anastasia Rojas Bibiano; siblings, Amalia Vargas Rojas, Felix Vargas Rojas, Angela Vargas Rojas, Maria De La Luz Vargas Rojas, Manuel Vargas Rojas, Rodolfo Vargas Rojas, Susana Vargas Rojas, Luis Vargas Rojas, Jesus Vargas Rojas; nephew-in-law, Alfonso Garcia; niece, Guillermina Ortega; and a host of other family members and friends.
