J. Scott Dowling, age 52, of Elsmere, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on April 12, 1968 to James Francis and Patricia Dowling (nee Afterkirk). Scott loved being with his family outdoors, and at the beach, especially Daytona Beach. He loved hunting with his dad and was an adrenaline junkie. He could always be found riding dirt bikes, quads, and skydiving. He was an avid movie and music connoisseur. He enjoyed attending concerts and was always listening to any type of music, except country music. He always had a dog and had a special place in his heart for animals. He will be remembered most by the love that he showed his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Dowling, sisters, Gay Stottman, Beth Wynn, and uncle, Gary Jump.
James is survived by his children, Olivia Dowling, Anabel Dowling, Gabriel Dowling; father, James Francis Dowling; aunt, Joyce Jump; ex-wife, Joy Dowling; and a host of other family members and friends.
